Unfiled Tax Returns
Non-filers of Tax Returns

If you have not filed your tax return this year or for several years, it is imperative that you file immediately to avoid any potential interest and penalties. By initializing the process before the IRS contacts you, there are procedures you can take to prevent the IRS from taking criminal action against you or seizing your bank accounts or social security retirement. Don’t underestimate the IRS.

They have more power than any other organization to take the money owed to them by any means. The IRS has become very proficient at finding non-filers. Failure to file or evasion of taxes is considered a very serious issue to the IRS

What you need to know
By not filing your tax return(s), you could be subject to criminal and civil penalties.  In severe cases, you may go to prison.  Unfiled taxes, at very least, are subject to substantial penalties. This could leave you and your family financially devastated.  Even if you cannot afford to pay your taxes, you are still required to file a tax return. Don’t avoid the IRS notices you may be receiving. Not responding to the IRS is the worst thing you can do since the IRS is looking for all taxpayers that have not filed their returns.

If you are non-responsive, the IRS will take the initiative to prepare tax returns for you based on their records. This may subject you to the highest tax bracket and create penalties and interest which increase your liability very quickly.  You need someone on your side to help you sort through all the “red tape.”

Since tax laws are constantly changing, preparing your own return(s) from years back can be challenging and it may not be completely necessary to file every return. We can help you determine which returns need to be filed.

GPP provides tax returns for individuals and businesses for multiple years and in all states.

We have the resources and expertise to prepare any and all types of tax returns for you:

• Individual
• Corporate
• Partnership
• LLC
• Estate
• Trust
• Employment

How we can help
Our highest priority is to shield you from further, direct IRS contact. This alone can give you peace of mind regarding a tax issue. The overwhelming burden of financial pressure can be lifted when we work together for your best solution. The steps we take are:

1) Listen and learn about your situation. Initially, we will schedule a complimentary interview to determine the extent of challenges with the IRS.

2) Sign a power of attorney. Allowing a professional to be the authority to represent you before the IRS takes stress off of you and your daily life.

3) Stop the annoying phone calls or notices. Our firm notifies the IRS that we are representing you, which requires the IRS to communicate with and contact us directly. Our focus is to stop any harassment and direct all correspondence through our office.

4) Make a plan. After meeting with you to diagnose the problem, we’ll recommend the best course of action based on our experience and knowledge of the options available. ?
